David Cameron for Prime Minister

Campaign team image

I was elected Leader of the Conservatives on a mandate to change the Party and change the country. Since then we have set out plans to rebuild our battered economy, revive our beleaguered NHS and repair our broken society.

I want a country where people have more opportunity and power over their lives; a country of stronger families and a more responsible society; and a Britain which is safer and greener.

If you share this vision please give what you can to support my campaign - and do leave a comment letting me know why you have donated. Thank you.

The recent comment from member Kirstie Sherwood was particularly interesting in the respect that it seems very possible, and absolutely in line with the party's campaign, that strengthening the family would of itself and naturally promote solutions to other social problems right across the board.

I totally echo everything Vincent says. We owe it to our children to make this country better and the only way to do that is to vote for David Cameron and the Conservative Party. Lets get real family values back. Labour want to take them away and make the state responsible for everything including our children. I would rather trust my childrens future with David Cameron than the slimy manipulative Ed Balls.

The Polls show a narrowing of the Conservative lead, however, this is not the time to wobble we must remain firm and continue to pedal a strong and consistent message. This Government needs to be exposed for what it really is ‘weak, divided, deceitful, and self licking’ and it needs to go as we cannot go on like this. This great Country is crying out for change, DC has the vision for change and I believe that we owe it to our children to change this Country for the better. We need to warn the electorate that a Hung Parliament will mean a weak Government, however, there is an alternative, vote Conservative and you will get a ‘Strong Government’ lead by DC and it will bring the change we so desperately need, so let’s get the message out there.

My main motivation for voting Conservative is the family values and law and order stance of the party. I personally believe that the family is the social unit from which the most good can be achieved and from which values are fostered and nutured into frameworks of a person's life. By ensuring that it remains together, we can ensure that problems like anti-social behavior and high divorce rates are reduced to pre-Labour levels. I am also in favor of the Law and Order policy and the reduction of the plague of political correctness that has created an unnessecesary level of government bearaucracy to administer it, increasing the tax bill and decreasing the annual budgets of local institutions. As a first time voter turning 18 in April, I am happy to support the Conservatives and their aims. Good luck to you, David!
