Harriett Baldwin for West Worcestershire
Harriett Baldwin has been campaigning in West Worcestershire since July 2006. Successful campaigns so far include: a new community hospital for Malvern, plans for a new radiotherapy unit at Worcester hospital and helping our market town GPs continue to prescribe medicines.
Flooding is a major problem in the area. Successful campaigns include proposals for permanent flood defences in Upton-upon-Severn, Powick, Uckinghall and Pershore, Defford Road. Ongoing campaigns exist for Kempsey and Tenbury Wells.
Harriett is campaigning against the Regional Spatial Strategy, which is threatening the area's green fields with 25,500 new homes.
