Action Needed For Boothstown Standfield Centre

We, the undersigned, draw the attention of Salford City Council to the neglect and recent vandalism to the shops which have now been vacated at the Standfield Centre Boothstown, including the area immediately surrounding the centre, such as the car park to the rear and the grassed area to the front.

We hereby request that Salford City Council (1) take immediate enforcement action against the owners of the Standfield Centre, Boothstown, to ensure that urgent measures are taken to secure all empty property, including doors and windows and the surrounding area cleaned and made presentable, and (2) investigate with the owners, in consultation with local councillors and residents, options for rejuvenation of the Standfield Centre.
