Location of a Memory Centre in Chorley

We the undersigned call upon Central Lancashire NHS Trust to locate a Memory Centre in Chorley.

Projections are that 1.4m people in the UK will suffer with Dementia and a further 700000, although suffering, will never receive appropriate diagnosis. Memory Centres are units whereby early diagnosis of memory loss can be taken in friendly surroundings. This will allow for the reduction of fear of the onset of some memory loss illness or give early diagnosis so that early treatment can be given.

A number of these Centres are to be established across Central Lancashire and I feel that it is vital we have such a Centre in Chorley.
