Save King George's A&E

Two years ago saw a successful campaign, supported by Simon Jones and local Conservatives, to protect A&E services at King George Hospital. Now, officials from Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust are discussing new plans that will lead to a reduction of key services at our local hospital. A polyclinic would go onto the site and we would lose crucial services like Accident and Emergency.

Although there is to be public consultation on the proposals, the response from local people is unlikely to change. However, there is growing fear that this radical change will be imposed on us.

Simon Jones, Dagenham and Rainham’s Prospective Conservative MP, said

“I believe it's vital we protect and retain our local hospitals. It is clear that if King George loses it's A&E, then Queens and nearby Whipps Cross hospitals would seriously struggle to meet the extra demands placed on them.”

Simon would welcome your help in putting pressure on the Government.
